The growing population of the elderly and the issue of care for them requires a design culture in the creation of a new age-friendly products.
With a focus on abandonment of the aged and the social problem of their
marginalization due to age, the project seeks to help this demographic group that live out their daily lives in their domestic environments, increasing comfort and enjoyment. Using Moroso furniture components and by assimilating them pursuits of the aged, new designs were created.
Mrs. Redonda transform a seat into a green throne; Mr. Silver creates a
symbolic shelter to indulge perusal; Mr. Bohemio bestows an intimate spaces, warmly embracing those who sit. This design is a tribute to elderly, a home to the abandoned, a gift for the forgotten.
